  Bought a half decent car... Although Joe wasn't entirely honest about the Bmw mechanic who had apparently thoroughly checked and inspected the car out prior to sale (It wasn't!!!). My car was sold to me with less than 6 months mot, this was the assurance he gave to me. The car had a dangerous fault on suspension and several other mini defects... Car was also sprayed with heavy gloss wax in his showroom, to cover up all scratches in the lacquer.
  
  The faults found on the car were all reported to Joe. Some were fairly minor, to include; faulty passenger mirror (Ignored), boots struts had failed (Got told to buy them on eBay) blocked washer jets (Sorted out), suspension bush was the only serious fault, as this was causing dangerous handling. The most serious being the hardest to get resolved, as the mechanic Joe uses, had me make 3 trips to his garage in Middleton. Where just washers got cleared out, as Adam decided by my 3rd appointment that he hadnt got enough time and i would need to return for a 4th visit or leave the car there and then to fix the car. When he informed me, that it was a 1 hour fix and agreed to start work at 4pm.... as he advised he was there until 6pm. When iquestioned Adam, he became aggressive and used foul language to suggest it was obviously a big job and that he would be working until 10pm potentially (Even though Cr Mot fixed the car in 1 hour), before Adam informed me, that he doesn't need the work anyway and to take the car elsewhere.
  
  The suspension only got sorted out several months after I reported it, when I eventually took the car on the 4th attempt to get repaired at another garage in tamworth, (Cr mot) who fixed the car on the day they had it first time around.
  
  Joe's communication was also not always very responsive, as i often had to follow up with a call days later, when emails weren't always responded to or calls not returned.
  
  Ultimately, Joe couldve been more sympathic to fact that he had exaggerated the cars condition, that it had been fully inspected by the bmw specialist (Adam), who informed me that all he does, is an oil change.... and said Joe to did not ask him to check anything out prior to the car being sold.
  As it only had a fairly short Mot (less than 6 months) and having knew about the bush on the advisory before being sold, this should of been inspected and rectified before sale.
  
  Even after all the inconvience, not so much an apology for all my trouble or offer to fix the mirror and boot struts... The best he could manage was to offer to buy the car back for a trade price ! Not impressed...
